KARATE, Spanish, and ASL Thu Jan 9 - Thu May 15, 2025 (18 classes) Schedule: 9:00 - 10:00am Karate 10:00 - 10:30am Beginning Spanish and/or ASL. Q) What if I start after Thu Jan 9 and miss a couple of classes? A) You will receive 18 classes. Missed classes can be made up in the afternoon sessions Q) Who is teaching beginning Spanish? A) David Sgro; missionary to Guatemala. Also sometimes family members are native Spanish speakers and join the class Q) Who is teaching ASL? A) Louise (18) and/or Vince. Vince (25 yrs old) is fully deaf and only speaks through ASL. (Children of David and Melanie Sgro, Owners of SGRO Karate). They are Black Belt Instructor at SGRO Karate. Q) What do we wear and bring to our first class? A) Wear loose-fitting clothes. Sweats and a T-shirt are best. You can bring a water bottle or we have a drinking fountain or water for sale. Camping at Jordan Lake: Fri March 28 - Sun March 30, 2025. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We'll help you! This is great for families with kids, especially if one of the parents is deployed or unavailable (for whatever reason) We have 2 group spots RIGHT on the lake! |

($10) Thu May 15: Belt Test #2 and EOG (End of Grade) Party Spring Semester Fee: $250* *The Spring semester fee (18 classes) is higher than the Fall Semester fee (16 classes) because of the 2 extra classes.
