On 15 June 2010 KJN headed with Angela and 10 of their 13 children for Miami, FL to ship their van and use their one way tickets to move to Guatemala City (Mixco), Guatemala as Christian Missionaries.  2 weeks prior to their arrival Guatemala experienced a Volcanic eruption, a Tropical Storm that created landslides and devastation Nationwide, the destruction of 318 bridges Nationwide, an earthquake, 36 inches of rain in one hour (that prevented them from moving into their condo for 48 hours due to flooding), and a 120 ft sinkhole only 15 minutes from their house.  Welcome to Guatemala!  Now as the vacation at Lake Atitlan word is out that a landslide cut off the exit road for an estimated 48 hours!  Welcome to Guatemala!

In the first month since relocating to Guatemala 3 Short Term Mission Teams visited, bringing 12 tons of food to the folks who had their hoes destroyed by the Volcano eruption, built an exterior restroom facility for a Kids Club that feeds over 120 children breakfast Mon - Thu, purchased 6 tables for the children to study on, conducted an initial study of the current state of care for the Autistic children in Guatemala, performed several karate demonstrations/dramas, and visited an Orphanage/Day Care.  It's been busy!  Check back for updates!
